NBC Nightly News Reboot

With MSNBC preparing to move from 30 Rockefeller Plaza to its new home at MS NOW, Studio 3A was selected to become the future home of NBC Nightly News with Tom Llamas. NBC News invited Overlook, in collaboration with Clickspring Design, to reimagine several aspects of the studio environment — a meaningful opportunity, especially since I originally designed the space in 2021. To align more closely with the evolving show brand, we introduced a richer prime-time palette, incorporating deeper blues in the flooring, warmer wood finishes in the columns, and a custom wallpaper installation throughout the adjacent 60-foot corridor, among other updates. The redesigned space officially launched on May 18, 2026.
